The renamed Dubai Islands, formerly known as Deira Islands, will boost the emirate's status as a top worldwide destination for inhabitants, visitors, and investors, according to Dubai's 2040 Urban Master Plan. All of each island's distinctive features, such as cutting-edge living conditions, cultural hubs, beaches for recreational activities, and beach clubs, will be housed in a single, interconnected site with easy access to the city and airport. To assist Dubai in accomplishing its aim of increasing the number of hotel keys, the islands will host over 80 resorts and hotels, including luxury and wellness resorts, boutique hotels, family-friendly hotels, and eco-conscious hotels.
