A growing city of 145 square kilometers located inside the emirate of Dubai, Dubai South will eventually house a million people. The city is mandated to represent His Highness Sheik Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum's vision by displaying the urban and sociological topics described in the Dubai Plan 2021, which began as a Government of Dubai Project in 2006.
These issues relate to making a city full of contented, creative, and capable people; a complete and stable society; the preferred location to live, work, and contribute; a sharp and supportable metropolis; and a significant hub in the global economy. Dubai South's financial scene supports every type of business and industry. In addition, the city is home to the World Expo 2020 and the Al Maktoum International Airport, both of which are now functioning.
