International City features country-themed homes, commercial opportunities, and tourism attractions. The intricately patterned traditional carpets of the Middle East served as inspiration for its geometry, which will span 800 hectares (8 million square meters). Over 60 thousand people will be able to live in the project's finished studio, one, and two-bedroom apartment units.
International City is situated in the Al Warsan neighborhood of Dubai, next to the Dubai Central Fruit and Vegetable Market, between Emirates Route Interchanges 5 and 6, along the Dubai-Hatta road. It takes around 15 to 20 minutes to drive to the city center from the Dubai International Airport, which is 9 kilometers (5.4 miles) away. The Central District, Dubai Design Centre, Dragon Mart, Residential District, Lakes District, and Forbidden City are the six key districts that will make up this complex.
